Established in 2020 by Wayne Garrett and Brandon Garrett, the Bent Oak Capital Scholarship will benefit Parker County High School graduates studying business or finance. First generation, single mothers, or a child of a single parent is preferred.

Dr. Richard Bowers was named WC Vice President Emeritus upon his retirement from the college in 2016. He served as a faculty member and administrator for a total of 47 years. Pat Bowers is also a retired educator, spending many years in the Weatherford ISD.
