Family and friends of Leon and Verna Coomer

The family of Leon and Verna Coomer has established a new permanent scholarship endowment with the Weatherford College Foundation. The Coomers met at WC in the 1960s and were married for 55 years until his passing last year. The Leon and Verna Coomer Scholarship will be earmarked for graduates of public Parker County high schools with high academic marks and financial need.
