Rena Mae Woody

Rena Mae Woody (1922-2024) graduated from Weatherford College as a non-traditional student after raising four children. She went on to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees and established a career as a respected educator, spending many years as a Weatherford ISD teacher and librarian. She was a staunch advocate for WC, establishing five permanent scholarship endowments at her alma mater.
